• Building and assembling vehicles according based on the requirements of the company and the client.
• Inspecting machines, engines, transmissions, etc. and running diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Repair or replace broken parts and fix issues relating to the vehicles.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
• Work with design/project engineers to develop optimised engineered solutions.
• Maintaining the engineering configuration, ensuring the overall design intent and integrity is maintained throughout design lifecycle.

• Working knowledge of regulations and approved codes of practice.
• Proven experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems and their components.
• Demonstrable knowledge of automotive systems and how they work together.
• Aptitude in various hand tools and precision measurement tools.
• Able to follow established procedures and practices, and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
• Able to work to tight deadlines, alongside time management skills and the ability to prioritise.
• A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.
• A full British driving licence
• Residence and the right to work in the UK.
• A valid passport.
• Able to pass a DBS check.

• Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
• Constructing base templates.
• Measuring, marketing out, cutting, and bending lines.
• Setting up metalwork machinery.
• Fabricating and constructing steel components.
• Grinding and finishing completed products.
• Performing quality checks on completed products.
• Conforming with legal and company safety regulations.

• Proven experience as a metal fabricator.
• Good hand dexterity and an eye for detail. 
• Competent with a range of hand and basic machine tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Good understanding of basic maths.
• Good physical condition and endurance.
• A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.
